Albatros Apartments - Callao Salvaje

The 1 key Albatros Apartments are situated around 50 metres from the sea, in the quiet resort of Callao Salvaje on the rugged west coast of Tenerife.

The apartments are approximately 25km north west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1982 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Albatros complex is a small development of 28 one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 2 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the garden area towards the nearby island of La Gomera.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guests staying at the Albatros Apartments are welcome to use the facilities of the nearby Atlantic Holiday Center, which includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests at the Atlantic Holiday Center includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, as well as a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Atlantic Holiday Center also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
