The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Originally built in 1742 as a family home, the Hotel Monopol was subsequently converted in 1888 into a hotel, and today has a total of 92 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin and family rooms, all which are built over 3 floors.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and lounge bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a small rooftop swimming pool for adults, offering guests panoramic views over the resort, and sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a Jacuzzi and sauna.

The Hotel Monopol also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
